Rocks & Ropes
{12 - 17 Years Old}
The Rocks & Ropes program is designed for 12 - 17 year olds. It
is a 2 hour class and is offered the first Wednesday of every month from
6:00 - 8:00 PM. This class is designed to teach teens how to belay,
safety techniques, basic movement (technique), bouldering and much
more. Once a participant has successfully passed this class he/she can

Basic Movement / Technique
This class is designed for people with little
to no experience with indoor rock climbing and anyone who would like a thorough
refresher in the basics. It deals with the most basic aspects of
climbing movement, and is for novice climbers only. Topics
include foot placement, body position, hand holds, basic training and

Lead Climbing
The pre-requisites for this class are having completed the top rope belay certification and the ability to flash a 5.10+ climb. This
class includes
rope management on lead (clipping, stances, avoiding
tangles and more), belaying a leader, and safety considerations for
lead climbers and belayers
